The Polish Association of Construction-Industry Employers [Polski Związek Pracodawców Budownictwa] is a nationwide organisation associating companies from the infrastructure and construction sectors, which together represent over 70 percent of the potential of the general contracting market in Poland. The PZPB firmly believes that the environmental integration of the infrastructure and construction sectors will strengthen the representativeness of the industry on the scale of the national economy.
Fields of activity
PZPB membership is an opportunity to directly participate in the creation of system solutions involving the infrastructure and construction sectors, and to submit postulates and motions which are of significant importance for the shaping of the business environment.
The Association is an expert organisation dealing with broadly understood economic problems, including corporate social responsibility. The organisation shapes and disseminates the principles of the ethics and standards of fair conduct in production processes, business-transaction implementation, and environmental protection. It prepares industry-expert assessments, provides consulting with regard to legal acts regulating business activities in the domains of infrastructure and construction, and intervenes in State bodies and administration offices.
The PZPB is the largest organiser of its kind in the construction industry on the Polish market.
