The East still needs us. Tines and Unibep in Belarus

On 24 October 2016, during the Belarusian and Polish Economic Forum of “Dobrosąsiedztwo 2016” in Minsk, attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the Polish companies trading as TINES SA and UNIBEP SA signed – together with the executive committee of the city of Vitebsk – the memorandum concerning the modernisation of 20 km of tramways. The project implemented in the model of “design and construct” is planned for the years 2017-2020.

Cooperation with Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce

On 10 October, a meeting took place between the representatives of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (PUIG) and the Polish Cluster of Construction Exporters (PKEB). The meeting was attended by: Mr. Jacek Piechota, President of the Board of PUIG, Mr. Sławomir Szymusiak, Deputy Director of PUIG, and Mr. Andrzej Kozłowski, Vice-President of PKEB.

Cluster on trade mission to Stockholm

On 30-31 August 2016, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Poland in the Kingdom of Sweden, a large representation of the Polish Cluster of Construction Exporters took part in the official trade mission to Stockholm. The event was dedicated to perspectives and further growth of Polish construction industry on the Swedish market. The head of the trade mission was Ms. Iwona Woicka-Żuławska, PhD – Director of Department of Economic Cooperation of Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Polish Cluster of Construction Exporters was represented by the Vice-President of the Board of PKEB, Mr. Andrzej Czapczuk, PhD, Eng.

Elektrotim launches Exports Division

To celebrate the Export Division in the Elektrotim capital group, the Trade Office was officially opened on 18 August 2016 in Tarasy Business Centre in Warsaw at ul. Złota 59. During the official part of the event, issues related to founding and operation of Elektrotim S.A., the nature of cooperation of companies in the Polish Cluster of Construction Exporters, and the profile and operation of the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce were discussed.

Cluster becomes collective member of the Polish Association of Construction Employers (PZPB)

On 29 June, the Polish Cluster of Construction Exporters was accepted as a Collective Member to the Polish Association of Construction Employers – a Poland-wide organisation grouping businesses operating in infrastructure and construction industries that represent over 70 per cent of EPC market potential in Poland.

Summary of the conference “World Solutions. Made in Poland”

The world of infrastructure grows without us, Polish construction companies. We now have the last opportunity to intensify exports and reinforce our companies’ position on international markets. The experience, quality, know-how and often also cost advantages offered by Polish companies are our competitive edge against other entities on international markets. It is high time we established solid cooperation to promote Polish construction brand and secure participation in infrastructural projects around the world for Polish companies.
